Did Grantland Rice suck?

Personally, after reading both articles, I think I’m more on the side that says Grantland Rice sucks. After reading the article that Rice wrote, I did notice his analogies were kind of corny and he would consistently use those types of analogies in his article and that is stated in the article talking about why he sucks. Also, in that same article, it mentions at times he would be racist towards African Americans using metaphors that he made up himself. So for those reasons, I think that Grantland Rice sucks.
