Michigan State players assault Michigan player explained.

I feel like the Michigan State players should be facing criminal charges for their actions because even though they are Division I football players, they are still regular citizens that need to abide by the laws, and those players jumped a Michigan player and it was recorded and put out to the public. In the third paragraph, it mentions that “The four suspensions came after video surfaced from the Detroit News showing Brown, Grose and Young assaulting Wolverines defensive back Ja'Den McBurrows in the tunnel after Saturday's game.” It specifically states that they assaulted the Michigan player, so they should definitely face criminal charges.

I think that Mel Tucker shouldn’t be disciplined for what happened in the tunnel unless evidence comes out that he influenced his players to do that. After all, he wasn’t the one who participated in the assault and he shouldn’t be punished. I highly doubt that a coach of a Division I football program would influence players to beat up the opposing players and risk getting suspended or kicked out of the league.
